A mixed blessing.  There were four semifinalists, and I was two of them.  :)  I'm still in the running for "Pirates", but got dropped for "Night Music".  I'd have switched those, myself.  "Pirates", a festival production, had the inherent disadvantages of only one performance and minimal rehearsal time with the orchestra.  But I'll take it!
