After the huge success and emotional high of Savoynet's "Sorcerer" in August, for the first time in years, I've been enjoying a fall with no upcoming MD projects. I'm finally finishing up my woodwind quintet arrangements of Corelli and Vivaldi concerti grossi (one each, although there's plenty more to choose from if I want to keep going in that vein). Next step is to get them read by actual players, do some clean-up and publish them at Score Exchange. After that, depending on time and availability, I'll be cleaning up and publishing some concert band arrangements I did for the Big Apple Corps back in the day. Other than that, we're recovering from Hurricane Sandy (we were very lucky - never even lost power) and preparing for the holidays. Happy Fall, everyone! |
